My future News Stringer work will now include the new SONY PXW-Z200 4K News Camcorder. This will be my primary run and gun camera for breaking and spot news coverage. This all-in-one 4K ‘pro camcorder’ is a perfect device for those who need something that can film/stream awesome footage quickly and easily straight out of the camera bag without having to fiddle with setting up the camera, just pull from your go bag and power it on. 

By no means, have I given up using my FS7’s or FS5m2, these cameras are still my primary commercial and news gathering camera’s. But I needed a lighter flexible camera for last minute assignments.

I will share more on the camera as I bring the camera through it’s paces.
